Services Provided

The Canine Emergency Response Association Provides quality trained K-9 to any official Police or Fire Department requests. Currently we can provide the following canines.

• Tracking
• Air scenting
• Human Remains Detection
• Narcotic Detection
• Evidence Detection
• Man-Trailing Bloodhounds

Want to Join?

Currently we are looking for anyone interested in joining. We are a volunteer organization so there will not be any pay. We are in need of highly motivated people that are wiling to work in all different weather conditions. If you don’t want to join but would like to still help out that is ok too. We always need people to hide and play victims for our trainings. We currently train every Sunday in different areas around the Miami valley. Some of the things we need from you.

Ground support. We need people to act as Lookouts for the K-9 teams. You may see things the handler wont see.

We also need people to act as liaisons at the command post. These will be people that will stay in contact with the incident commander. And update them as our progress in the field.

We would also like to have ground support that are certified as Ohio Emergency Medical Technicians to treat any injuries we may come across. We have NO AFFILIATION with the Xenia Twp. Fire Dept or any of their members.
